Ben Stiller Rocks the Avatar Contact Lenses at the Oscars

I like how Ben Stiller keeps things interesting. That was quite the shocker when he came out to present an Oscar dressed as a character from Avatar. He had the blue skin, the braid, the tail and even the yellow contact lenses:

Ben Stiller came out as a Na'vi from "Avatar" to present the award for Best Makeup (and as he noted, "Avatar" wasn't even nominated for that award, since all the blue people were CGI). He had the blue face paint and gross yellow contact lenses and a fishing pole connected to his long tail. Way to commit. The makeup winner: "Star Trek."
I think the yellow contact lenses looked good on him - meaning, as that character. They looked realistic and, of course, he could still see out of them. It really completed the look he was going for.

If someone was going as a character from Avatar for their Halloween costume, they would probably find that adding the Avatar contact lenses to it would really make a huge difference. This is because people always look at other people's eyes when they look at them, so they would get noticed. Having yellow colored eyes is not natural, which is probably why that color was chosen for the characters in that movie.

This type of special effect contact lens is similar to those worn in the Twilight movies. I guess the vampires and Avatar characters have something in common. Weird.

Mad Hatter Contact Lenses
In addition to those two, I almost forgot that there's a third character that's also related - the Mad Hatter from the new Alice in Wonderland movie. People are also looking for Mad Hatter contact lenses, which would, in my opinion, be another great Halloween costume this year. Johhny Depp seems to keep outdoing himself with the number of ways he can look. He will, no doubt, go down in the Hollywood history books and one of the most creative looking actors ever. He can transform into any character and the Mad Hatter is going to be one of his best, for sure.
