Vampire Contact Lenses on American Idol

I was watching an episode of American Idol the other day and they had the contestants dressed up to shoot a music video commercial. In keeping with the Twilight movies and their success, they dressed them up like vampires and even gave them vampire colored contact lenses to wear. They turned out looking pretty cool, actually.

I think they did a good job decking them out to look like the handsome, teen vampires since they used light colored makeup, punk / emo type hairstyles and those vampire contact lenses. There was a special effect used in the video production that made things look very black and white but they made the yellow contacts stand out and that really made everything work. I'm worried that people might see that and think they could get the same kind of look with their Halloween costume if they go as a vampire. They might be able to get something close that though - if they work at it and plan their costume out ahead of time.
